Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter

  • 1/2-1 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper

  • 2 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning (Winco is my favorite brand)

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt

  • 2 lbs Frozen Corn or 2 Cans of Creamed Corn

Directions

  • In a small pot, add the cream cheese and butter and melt and cream together on medium heat on the stove top.
  • Using a whisk or spoon mix really well until combined. It will look a little curdley at first, but keep mixing it will smooth right out.
  • Once combined, add the seasonings, mixing as you add.
  • When fully combined, add your frozen corn.
  • When you put your frozen corn in the cream cheese/butter mixture it will clump up and look like you have way too much corn, but don’t worry. Just keep mixing until the corn and mixture thaws out again. Creamed Corn, being made.
  • You can’t help but snitch a spoonful of this tastiness! Sometimes, I will make just creamed corn for dinner, but the recipe I love this in the most is our Spicy Salmon Chowder!
